Online Credit Applications

Make sure the website you are filling out a credit application is a secured website. A good way to know this is to look up to your browser where the website is and look for the “s” after http. Here is an example  https://apply.financetoday.ca/?FullName=test&Address=test&Email=test&Phone=test . When you notice that their is an “s” after the http this will let you know that the                              online credit application has a secure website and server. This will allow you to be comfortable when filling out the information as you will now know the information is not going to get into the wrong hands. I would suggest always doing a follow up with the application to ensure it went through okay. Most companies should be able to get back to you in a very short time frame on confirming the application. A lot of this will apply for car loans and car loan pre approvals
